Medical Missions

Like a force of gravity, God is bringing together people of all disciplines, skill sets and spiritual gifts to give birth to something beautiful, a refuge for Children in need of a loving family.  The lodge is a collective of smaller family groups of children overseen and nurtured by dorm moms.  Under one roof, they are part of a larger family, providing not just all of their physical needs, but their spiritual and emotional ones as well.  Counseling is connected to the Lodge for the purpose of serving the children as well to help them heal from their past injuries to move into a bright future.

There is a huge need to support the single mom.  Many single moms are struggling just to get by living paycheck to paycheck with all the added pressure of filling the roles of two parents.  The co-operative is a unique place to share the burden of child care, learn life skills and provide children with a loving Christ centered environment for them to grow.  This program helps to reduce the expense and burden of raising children and creates structure and discipline for children who might otherwise be void of it because of an absent father.

We live in a society that self medicates, runs away from problems and surrenders to pharmaceuticals as a bandaid for our spiritual heart issues. From emotionally injured children to broken marriages, we are tackling these epidemic level struggles through life changing counseling.  We believe that understanding leads to life transformation and breaking the chains of bondage from the emotional issues that enslaves, destroy people and relationships .

We are called not just to meet the spiritual needs of people, but the physical ones as well.  Our desire is to organize and mobilize the medical community in service to Christ through their talents and abilities into the mission field.  Many times there are doctors and dentist who have the desire to serve in this capacity, but don’t have an outlet or expertise to get plugged in.  The medical missions program creates the structure and logistics support to send teams of professionals out into the field for effective help and ministry.
